The following programs are taught by qualified Auxiliary Members at the Flotilla 79 building and are offered to the Public:
Public Boating Programs offered at other Flotillas in the Seventh District
This program is designed to help you become a better recreational boater. Through it, we hope to teach you the knowledge and skills that you need to boat safely. With this knowledge, you can avoid problems and enhance your enjoyment of on-the-water activities. We also want to raise your awareness of what bad things might happen to you or others, so that they can be prevented. The following topics are discussed: Which Boat is for You? Equipment for Your Boat Trailering Your Boat Handling Your Boat Your "Highway" Signs The Rule You Must Follow The Rest of Our Story Introduction to Navigation Powering Your Boat Lines and Knots for Your Boat Weather and Boating Your Boat's Radio
